Family Assessment Case Manager

  • Salary - £10.25 per hour during probationary period, rising to £10.75 per hour.
  • 3 shifts per week required, plus 2 office days (9am-5pm).
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts e.g. (9.30am-2.30pm), (2.30-8pm), (8pm sleep- in shift to 9.30am next day). 
  • A share of weekend shifts and Bank Holidays will be required.
Job summary
  • To be able to undertake objective parenting assessments based on detailed observations of children and their families, within a residential or community based setting.
  • To be responsible for undertaking 1 or 2 parenting assessments at a time and completing detailed reports of progress for meetings and the Court process in Child Care Proceedings.

Deputy Residential Manager - Living Springs Family Centre

Essential:

  • Social Work Qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience of children and families work

Job Summary

  • The Deputy Residential Manager is responsible for assisting and supporting the Residential Manager in the effective functioning of the Residential Centre, ensuring that all relevant policies and procedures are developed and adhered to in an appropriate manner.
  • The Deputy Residential Manager will assist the Residential Manager, Trustees and Centre Director to ensure the accomplishment of Living Springs’ mission, purpose and vision.
  • To Deputise for the Residential Manager during periods of their absence, temporarily undertaking their duties.
  • To Case Manage or undertake Community-based Assessments or PAMS assessments, as required.
  • To undertake and monitor any direct work with families, focusing on a variety of parenting related subjects.
  • To undertake report writing, court reports and maintaining essential records to specified deadlines, in accordance with Centre policies and guidelines.
  • To attend Court and give evidence in Child Care cases, as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £31,000.00/year

Bank - Family Assessment Worker

Salary - £8.60 per hour during probationary period, rising to £9.10 per hour, plus sleep-in payments.
Essential - Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma
Essential - Experience of working with children and families

Please note: Applications received from applicants with no experience of undertaking parenting assessments will not be considered.

Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends e.g. 9.30am-2.30pm, 2.30-8pm, 8pm sleep-in shift to 9.30am

  • To able to undertake objective parenting assessments based on detailed observations of children and their families, within a residential or community based setting.
  • To be able to maintain accurate and detailed records of observations.
  • Must have Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have 2 years’ experience of working with parents and children
